Financial contributions help us sustain a variety of amenities for the participants involved in the program, the host families providing for the participants, and for events and activities for the participants to engage in communally. At Home Stretch, every contribution counts. Your support helps us continue our vital work. Whether through a donation, volunteering your time, or spreading the word, there are many ways you can make a meaningful impact.

Ways to Contribute to Home Stretch

Your financial support is critical to our mission. Every dollar you give goes directly to funding our programs, from housing assistance to educational initiatives. Whether it's a one-time donation or a recurring gift, your generosity helps us provide consistent, reliable support to those in need.

💡
Please note that all donations to Home Stretch are non-refundable.

Host Families

Host families are the keystone to success for the Home Stretch program! Host families are the families who step up to take in a young adult participant in the program, providing them with a stable home environment and acting as a catalyst for personal growth and development. Teaching life skills and offering a shoulder to cry on and an ear to listen are some of the core parts of being a host family - your goal is to provide the foundations for a better future for the participant you're paired with.

💡
For the safety of the participants of Home Stretch, all host families will be required to pass an extensive background check.

Volunteering

Volunteering comes in many different shapes and sizes! We are looking for passionate, dedicated individuals who have an intrinsic call to give back to others and their community. With your help, a young adult in our county's life could be radically changed, shifting them from a downward spiral onto a path towards success. Volunteer opportunities exist for the roles of mentors, tutors, event sponsors and leaders, and many more. Right now, the only application that is available is for mentors, but more will be added soon. As always, you can reach out to us for more information!

Spread the Word

Advocacy is a powerful form of contribution. By sharing our mission with your friends, family, and social networks, you help expand our reach and impact. Follow us on social media, sign up for our newsletter, and invite others to get involved.
